WCA does not sell or share our mailing list or attendee contact information with other entities. You may remove yourself from our mailing list at any time.
By entering your email in the box above you can sign up for the WCA mailing list and let us know which areas of interest you'd like to receive mails about; General Sessions, SIG events, etc. Each list is low volume (typically about three times per month) and we will never sell, loan, or otherwise provide non-WCA people access to the list. We may at times include 3rd party event information which we feel is relevant and valuable, and sometimes we are able to arrange discounts for WCA subscribers. These 3rd party mailings will always be sent in the context of a normal WCA mailing.
Our mailings are distributed via a service called "Constant Contact". They offer a number of features designed to help subscribers manage their interests, profiles, and communication preferences. To ensure that you get WCA mailings, please be sure to add *@constantcontact.com and *@confirmedcc.com to your list of allowed/pre-approved senders.
The minimum information we request for signing up is your e-mail (which is how we index you), your name, and to choose if you want to be in the WCA online directory. If you want to be in the directory, we encourage you to fill in the rest of the information, as it will allow people looking at the directory to know more about you.
Your Constant Contact sign-up will put you on the WCA mailing list, and you will be given the option sign up for various sub-lists; General Session plus any active SIGs. Please note that at this time the RFID SIG mailing list is handled differently, you need to request addition on the list from the SIG Chair.
Finally, after you have signed up for the mailing list you will be able to modify your information via a link included at the bottom of every mailing. This link has a password that lets you get into your profile and modify it as you wish.
