"Wireless Location: Premises, Products, Promises"
The market for location-based services is said
to be worth $20B by 2005, and Northern California is the undisputed
leader in the enabling technology -- precision location for
wireless applications. A distinguished panel of Bay Area location
vendors will convene to discuss the technologies, solutions,
and products required for the FCC's E911 Phase II precision
location mandate and location-based services. These experts
in their respective fields will assess and project what technologies
will be required for what content, what services consumers may
expect and want, who will offer them, and when.
