"Semiconductor Developments with
Significant Wireless Impact"
With market predictions in this sector exceeding
$20B by 2005, we expect a
very interesting and informative discussion from a very broad
range of
industry leaders. The panel will be hosted by Rick Ellinger,
WCA Director
and Venture Partner at Ospry Ventures.
Innovative semiconductor technology has been
the essential means for meeting
demand for the remarkable growth of the wireless communications
market. The
semiconductor industry has enabled wireless devices to have
lower power
consumption, be smaller, and less costly while increasing the
capacity and
performance of wireless network infrastructure. It is no coincidence
that so
many manufacturers of wireless communications products are located
in
Silicon Valley, the heart of the nation's semiconductor industry.
The panel
is made up of representatives from semiconductor companies that
will
describe current and future technologies that can really make
a difference
in the direction of the industry.
